Other companies in our corporate group who may act as joint controllers or processors

These are service p roviders who may act as processors based inside or outside the UK
and who provide IT, system administration and other services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.3. Sharing with CRA\u2019s <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to process your application, we will perform credit and identity checks on you
with one or more Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs). We may also carry out further
periodic searches at CRA\u2019s to allow us to manage your account with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, we will supply your personal information to CRAs. This will include your
name, date of birth and residential address. It may also include additional information
such as your salary, previous residential addresses and other information you provide
as part of your credit application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CRAs will match this information to the records they hold about you, and provide in
return, both public information (including the electoral register) and shared credit
information in relation to your financial situation and financial history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRA\u2019s will supply to us both public (including the electoral register) and shared credit,
financial situation and financial history information and fraud prevention information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will use this information to:
\u25cf Assess your creditworthiness and whether you can afford to take the product;
\u25cf Verify the accuracy of the data you have provided to us;
\u25cf Prevent criminal activity, e.g fraud and money laundering;
\u25cf Manage your account(s);
\u25cf Trace and recover any debts; and
\u25cf Ensure any offers provided to you are appropriate to your circumstances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to exchange information about you with CRA\u2019s while you have a
relationship with us. We will also inform the CRA\u2019s about your settled accounts. If you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

borrow and do not repay in full or on time, CRA\u2019s will record the outstanding debt. This
information may be supplied to other organisations by CRA\u2019s <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When CRA\u2019s receive a search from us they will place a search footprint on your credit file

If you are making a joint application, or tell us that you have a spouse of a financial
associate, we will link your records together, so you should make sure you discuss this
with them, and share with them this information, before lodging the application. CRA\u2019s
will also link your records together and these links will remain on your and their files
until such time as your partner successfully files for a disassociation with the CRA\u2019s to
break the link. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The identities of the CRA\u2019s, their role also as fraud prevention agencies, the data they
hold, the ways in which they use and share personal information, data retention periods
and your data protection rights with the CRA\u2019s are explained in more detail below <\/p>\n\n\n\n

in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third party service providers to use
your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your
personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.4. Other <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business
or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with
them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal

9. International transfers <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

TAB is based in the United Kingdom. So me of our external third parties may be based
outside the UK so the processing of your personal data may involve a transfer of data
outside the UK. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a
similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following

10. Data security <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from
being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents,
contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only<\/p>\n\n\n\n

process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of
confidentiality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and
will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to

11. Data retention <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we
collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or
reporting requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the
amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from
unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we
process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other
means, and the applicable legal requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By law we have to keep basic information about our borrowers and investors. (including
Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for at least six years after they cease
being a borrower or investors for tax purposes. Note that we may need to retain
information for longer periods in order for defence of legal claims or litigation – such as
recovery of an advance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details of other retention periods for different aspects of your personal data are
contained in our retention policy which you can request from us by contacting us by
emailing help@tabhq.com. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data and in some circumstances
we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you)
for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information

12. Your legal rights <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You have the right to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold
about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected,

remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to
process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal

we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note,
however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure
for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of

marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have
compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your

ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following
scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of

hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise
or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we

provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a
structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only
applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to

your personal data . However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any

an electronic system uses personal information to make decisions without

Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5AF. We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with
your concerns before you approach the ICO so please contact us in the first

13. No fee usually required <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the
other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly
unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your
request in these circumstances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. What we may need from you <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity
and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other
